Aunt Patty's Crab Cakes

This recipe is all about the crab. Here in Maryland, we are blessed with blue crab. Although expensive, this meat is worth the cost. My beautiful wife’s first griddle performance earns her the title of GriddleMeThis Mom. Thanks again to Aunt Patty for sharing her awesome recipe.

02 Preparation

  1. Use Jumbo Lump or Lump Blue crab meat. Drain any liquid from the container, then dump it onto a paper plate to gently check for shells
  2. Mix first 5 ingredients in glass bowl and then gently fold in crab meat.
  3. Make 4 large or 5 medium or 6 small crab cakes (some people say size matters) with the mixture and place into oiled ½ sheet tray.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.

Set your griddle to medium heat (~400)
